*Summer News 2024 - Great weekend at Haslemere Fringe Festival 2024. I enjoyed painting ukuleles and 3 guitars, signed by the headline bands,and meeting all the headline musicians,the musical instruments were for the raffle and silent auction, raising not far off £1000.00 for the festival music charities supporting new bands,to play along side headline bands as volenteer Artist in Residence at the festival. I happily returned as Artist in Residence as volenteer artist, helping to fundraise through art and music . Painting live at the festival expressive, colourful abstract and floral artwork adding to my festival interpretation my paintbrush has started creating its designs and I will be along side the musicians lined up for this years wonderful festival - Joining bands such as Blue,Tau Pau, Tash,Space Fishermen, Haircut 100, Rebecca Ferguson, Daniel Bedingfield , the fantastic comedy acts and many more!I painted on 3 brand new guitars and then silent bid to the audience on the main stage .Giving you all a chance to purchase one of the colourful and awesome handpainted guitars , donated by local music business and signed by the headline bands performing each day PLUS during the weekend I painted an additional 6 new ukuleles for a live draw tickets to win a new ukulele Raising money for the Fringe Festival music charity which helps them continue to add new and upcoming musicians to perform at the festival.Run by a collaboration of amazing locals , local businesses, and sponsors giving up their time to bring you the most fantastic music and creative weekend
I am an artist that enjoys being actively envolved painting to fundraise for a variety of charities - I have been volunteering to paint for Community Art Projects for over few years. Making a small difference through my art by then auctioning my artwork for the charity. I enjoy painting at live events , meeting the audience and musicians. I have been raising funds for the following charities - Cancer Research , Macmillan and NHS, Haslemere Fringe Festival, Haslemere Hounds and Hares,The Hunter Centre, Haslemere for Dementia , Leukaemia UK and Music Charities
