Meet Artist Mandy McKenna -
I am a self-taught watercolour and now, acrylic floral artist, I found myself drawn to painting over time, and had a career change. My passion for floral art evolved into a full-time career, as I continually explored new artistic techniques, including clay and pottery, to expand my creative range and opened a pottery studio and Art Gallery in Surrey, Firing Earth Pottery and Art Studio and now added my new side of the company, Mandy McKenna Designs. I moved my business to West Sussex and now work from my home studio, and two years ago, I introduced a textile, wallpaper and product collection, featuring designs inspired by my original artwork
I originally qualified chef, confectioner, and wedding cake decorator. I began my career in my early 20s after completing my college education. My love for creative cooking, decorating special occasion and novelty cakes, led to travelling, where I worked in various countries, with my culinary skills. However, even while immersed in the world of food, I always stayed close to my true passion, Art, especially watercolour painting, writing poetry, fairy stories and illustrations

Welcome 2025 - Mandy, launched her fabric range, wallpaper and homeware products at Stand 28 at Top Drawer, Olympia London in January 2025. This was the first time showcasing her floral designs to London and for future shops throughout the UK to introduce to their shops and customers Thank you for everyone who visited my stand and made the event so successful, as my first trade show, I really enjoyed meeting so many people and hearing all your lovely comments. Mandy enjoys painting and upcycling furniture, room screens, creates her own pottery range, paints dress manikins, paints lampshades, wall Muriel, all in her signature style. Commissions are undertaken for furniture and original artwork
