Mandy is moving location from her little studio in East Beach Studios, Worthing from mid September, after a happy time with other amazing artists by the beautiful sea front location

From mid October 2024,  Mandy is opening her New premises, shop and studio in Burgess Hill, East Sussex next to and alongside the established, and busy cafe, The Mercantile Adventures

Mandys new premises will be a colourful  showroom, shop and studio for her fabric, wallpaper ranges and a selection of homeware products, alonside introducing you to her floral painting and pottery workshops

Introducing, her fabric selections and product ranges for homes, hotels and businesses and leading up to the launch of her fabrics, at 'Top Draw' Design Fair ,  Olympia, London from 12th - 14th January 2025, as one of the  New Designers, showcasing  she will be showcasing her floral designs to London 

Mandy's story behind every design she paints is very different, but the story, gives the design a meaning and structure of where it came from and the reation Mandy wants to create with her designs 

Mandy's small watercolour sketch,  'Lavender Fields' was painted on a sunny day amongst a field of lavender with the bees buzzing and the warm sun , shinning on the swaying lavender, near Chichester,  creating the feeling of tranquility, calm and a design with impact. Inspiring her to start to develop her first fabric design 'Lavender Fields'

Mandy's bold artwork inspired her to design Scrumptious in Teal, Pink, Purple and Lime, floral artwork was painted using watercolour inks, adding bright colourful backgrounds to compliment her floral design and the name 'Scrumptious' was developed.Mandy loved the way these designs add a pop of colour and can blend together so well, enabling you to mix designs together

With great support from her husband and  family, with her little dog by her side. Mandy has developed her artwork from paintings to textiles designs , still makes time, to paint for charity community projects . Mandy is a passionate artist, raising money through painting for charity

 Summer News 2024

Mandy painted live at Haslemere Fringe Festival originally in 2022 , raising £950.00 and Mandy returned again in 2024 . Painting this year, on a selection of 6 new ukuleles and 3 new guitars in her recognisable floral designs and had the guitars signed by the headline bands threwout the festival. With a main draw and silent auction took place at the festival . Mandy donated the money raised to the festival music charities. Music being a big passion to Mandy and supporting new bands, to play along side headline bands raising £920.00 this year to add to the funds to book bands for 2026  ! Artist in Residence as a volunteer artist, helping fundraise through art and music

Painting live at the festival with colourful abstract and floral artwork adding her interpretation with her paintbrush and meeting bands such as Blue, Tau Pau, Tash, Space Fishermen, Callum Beattie,  Haircut 100, Rebecca Ferguson, Daniel Bedingfield and comedians, was a busy and fun weekend. Giving the public a chance to purchase one of the colourful and awesome hand painted guitars and ukuleles was alot of fun! The instruments were donated by a local Haslemere buisness, so thank you 

Haslemere Fringe Festival is run and a  collaboron of amazing locals ,local businesses, and sponsors giving up their time to bring you, fantastic music and creative weekend

   

September 2023 -  An original floral painting by Mandy was donated and auctioned at The Dorchester Hotel,  London at an event called 'Who's Cooking Who' a collaboration of famous chefs cooking for guests and celebrities at The Dorchester Hotel, fundraising for Leukaemia UK. Mandy helped make a difference. Mandys painting raised threw auction £850.00 for Leukaemia UK. Mandy had the pleasure of meetinhg with Dame Julie Walters who kindly signed her painting,  before it went to London to The Dorchester Hotel for tge main auction 

 

Mandy, through her artwork, enjoys painting at live events , meeting and introducing herself to the audience and musicians and fundraising for many charities with paintings and have included Cancer Research , Macmillan,  NHS, Haslemere Fringe Festival, Haslemere Hounds and Hares, The Hunter Centre, Haslemere for Dementia , Leukaemia UK and Music Charities
