with Adult Beginners Watercolour Class 

Step into a world of colour, nature, and creative fun with our beginner-friendly watercolour classes. Playful sessions painting  different themes on floral themes, from Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn themes - Birdhouses dusted with fresh snow and winter florals , wide frosty winter fields with grazing sheep, cheerful carpets of spring and Summer flowers, sun-dappled lime green woodland scenes and bluebells, to exploring charming country house gardens, rustic vegetable plots bursting with leafy greens and ripening produce, delicate climbing sweet peas with curling tendrils and soft pastel petals and terracotta pots with your favourite florals.

Each class is designed for beginners, with easy techniques, soft washes, gentle layering, colour mixing, and expressive brushwork, pen and ink out lining, watch your paintings come to life. Perfect for anyone who loves nature, wants a creative escape, or just wants to have fun with watercolour  and become confident with new painting skills with the right tools.

  How It Works:- Choose Your Pottery:- Select your pottery pieces to paint. We offer a variety of options to suite from studio visits to:-

  Home Kits for Pottery Painting:- Choose your pottery to paint from the current price list, and we provide all the paints, brushes, palettes, water pots and full instructions. We offer home kits for a variety of events and occasions:-Birthday Parties: Celebrate with a creative pottery painting experience at home.

  Hen Parties: A unique and relaxed way to celebrate with friends before the big day. Individual & Group Bookings: Perfect for smaller gatherings or larger group events, where you can paint at your own pace. Schools: Pottery painting kits for handprint/footprint tiles – a lovely keepsake for children and a great school activity. Fundraising Ideas for Schools: Get creative while raising funds with our pottery painting kits for schools. Scouts/Brownies/Guides: Specially designed kits for youth groups to enjoy a fun, artistic activity. Business Team Building: An engaging way to promote teamwork and creativity in the workplace Return for Glazing & Firing:- After painting, simply return your pottery to collection box in my studio driveway within 3 days. We’ll take care of glazing and firing,and let you know when your finished pieces are ready for pickup!

   Please call or email the studio to discuss your event and book. Payment is on booking, once an invoice is sent to you, and confirmed, once payment made by bank transfer. If booking is cancelled once paid for, a full credit note is provided to the value of your booing, to use for another session or workshop within 2026, valid for 6 months from original booking. Firing Earth do not do refunds on bookings. Note on Studio Bookings:- However, there are several great alternatives for hosting parties or group events,  Kelsey Village Hall  which is located in Ifold, opposite my studio  is perfect for larger bookings, with ample free parking. At Home, village hall near you, and school hall , all are ideal for hosting pottery painting party or group booking

  

  

   

  Clay Workshops for Children run only during school holidays - Bookings to start From - 10.30am - 11.30am or 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Variety of dates available on contacting the studio *Please Note - Structured Workshops for Children - A parent or guardian is required to stay at the studio, in an area to sit and watch the children`s workshop or sit quietly and enjoy the studio garden with a cup of complimentary tea/coffee - WI-FI is available

  Clay Pinch Pots:- Make you pinch pot. Then add a theme, fish , flowers, stars. Use the stamps to create patterns. Clay hand tools for printing. Clear glazed and fired. You then return to collect from the studio. Duration: 2 hrs making. 2 - 4 Children. Cost - £55.00pp

  Beginners Pottery Wheel Session Adults  (12+ years) Price £135.00 PP Duration:- 5 hours (Split into two parts) First Visit 2.5hours.  Wheel throwing and pottery techniques. Learning to make bowls, model with clay, and use various tools and cutters. You book your second visit to return at a later date to then spend 2.5 hours painting your pottery with colourful ceramic paints. Pottery will be glazed and fired, ready for you to collect 2 weeks from your class date

  X2 People  - Children Beginners Pottery on the Wheel. Children 8-11 years  Price:- £85.00 per child 3hour split session First Visit 1.5 hours  Return for second visit for painting session 1.5hours. Pottery wheel session you are guided to learn the basics, to throw bowls and try hand building in the studio. Second session, return to the studio at a later date and spend your time, painting the fired pottery, using a selection of colours with ceramic paints. Finished pottery will be glazed and fired. Collect 2 weeks from the class date

   X1Child and x1Adult pottery wheel experience. Children 8-11 years Price:- £80.00 per child. (Child 8 - 11 years)and Adult together Price:- £170.00. Duration: 3.5 hours (split into two parts) First session 2 hours.

  If you prefer to paint their fired pottery at home, you can collect, a pottery painting kit  with your hand made pottery and paint at home then return the kit and pottery for final firing up to three days later. A great way to provide an engaging and hands-on pottery experience for both adults and children. 

   *Cancellation on all Firing Earth workshops, classes and pottery painting for individuals and group bookings, once confirmed, booked and paid for, you are offered a full credit note to rebook your workshop, class and pottery painting, at an alternative date if your circumstances change and you have to cancel arranged date. Firing Earth do not offer refunds, once booked and paid
  

  Hand Building Clay  Tiles. Imprint clay, by pressing  real flowers, leaves and foliage from the studio garden or bring flowers from your own gardens. Adults £95.00 PP Class. Duration - 4 hours. Class 1.Split workshop 2 hours printing/cutting tiles. Class 2 - Return for painting fired tiles, 2 hours. Book for  2 - 4 people. All materials included and glazing and firing. Tea and coffee provided

  Adult Beginner - Make Clay Poppies and Roses :- Adults group 2 - 4 people per class. Price £95.00 PP. Class Duration - 5 hour split class into two sessions, making , then painting. Part One - Learn the techniques to make clay POPPIES. Moulding the clay to make petals, buds & leaves. Learn how to construct clay petals into poppies. Part Two -Return to the studio at another date. Learn how to  paint your fired clay poppies with ceramic colourful paints. Includes all materials Glazing/Firing. Tea and Coffee
